In addition to housing case management, you will be offered an array of housing support services, based on your need and preference. You will also have the benefit of an in-house eviction prevention specialist, as needed. You will be offered budgeting services to help you pay your rent and case management services to assist you with advocacy and referrals. Once you choose a place to call your home, you will receive monthly home visits by a housing case manager who is there to ensure your basic needs are met. Housing is your basic human right, and we are here to assist you in accessing and maintaining this critical need. In addition, you do not need an income to qualify for housing. You will have the benefit of an evidence-based “Housing First” approach to supportive housing, which means that your housing is not contingent upon participation in services or maintaining your sobriety. I am very interested in working with youth attachment/behavioral difficulties and I also have extensive experience with treating mood management problems, grief/loss, trauma, and career/academic development challenges across all ages. I have recently been focusing on providing youth, couple/marital, and family counseling services. I hold a Master of Social Work Degree, Juris Doctorate, and undergraduate degrees in psychology and biology, from the University of Iowa, Drake University, and Cornell College, respectively. My career has largely been in Community Mental Health settings and as such I have provided therapeutic services to a large and diverse group of people on a wide range of presenting problems.
